ID REQUIREMENTS (18 AND OVER)
a valid driver's license or identification card issued by the state of Minnesota or another state that includes a photograph and date of birth of the individual;

We do not accept expired or clipped forms of identification.
If you have recently gotten your ID renewed, please bring in your papers “temporary license” AND expired/clipped ID. We need both to accept it as a valid ID form.

MINOR ID REQUIREMENTS (UNDER 18)
Safety is our number one concern. In accordance with Minnesota state law, to be pierced as a minor at Steady, you must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. You must bring your current school, or valid military, tribal or state ID, or passport. Your parent/guardian must also bring their valid state, tribal or military ID or passport. This identification must be accompanied by documentation that reasonably establishes that the individual is the parent or legal guardian of the individual who is seeking the body piercing, i.e. - birth certificate, guardianship papers, or adoption papers. If names do not match, or have changed, please call to determine what documentation will be necessary.

For minors, BOTH minor and parent MUST have ALL required identification, please read below for a list of accepted documents.
If you do not have ALL of the required documents, we cannot pierce you.
MINORS AGES 14-17 MUST HAVE:
- Photo ID (State ID or Passport)
- OR a Current School ID WITH Birth Certificate
MINORS AGES 10-13 MUST HAVE:
- Birth Certificate and the Parent/Legal Guardian must have ID.
Minor and Parent/Legal Guardian must have matching LAST NAMES and ADDRESSES on State IDs or Passports - If not a Birth Certificate or Adoption / Guardianship Papers for the minor are REQUIRED.
This identification must be accompanied by documentation that reasonably establishes that the individual is the parent or legal guardian of the individual who is seeking the body piercing, i.e. - birth certificate, guardianship papers, or adoption papers. The names on the proof of guardianship must match the identification provided.
